Do you take insurance?

The Mental Health Collective works with most major insurance carriers on an out-of-network basis allowing for insurance as a partial form of payment.

How do I get admitted?

Potential clients are required to complete The Mental Health Collective’s comprehensive assessment. Medical and Clinical teams review every assessment prior to admission approval. Call admissions to start the process 888.717.9355

What is the length of stay for treatment?

The average length of stay is a 10 to 16 week titrating therapeutic structure considering the individual’s unique treatment needs.

Do you offer IOP?

The Mental Health Collective is not a traditional IOP (3 hours per day/3-5 days per week).  Our Immersion Treatment program provides a full day schedule M-F from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Days and times are often structured to enhance therapeutic care for individual needs.

Where are you located?

The Mental Health Collective is located in Newport Beach, California offering individualized adult mental health treatment within the Orange County community.

Do you allow pets?

No. The Mental Health Collective only allows registered and documented service animals.

What do you treat?

At The Mental Health Collective, our clinical team treats mood disorders, including the spectrum of depressive and bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders including PTSD and OCD. Our experts provide programming for personality disorders, burnout, complicated grief, and more…

Do you allow visitors?

On-site and off-site therapeutic visitations are scheduled by Program Therapists. Visits are encouraged, however frequency, length etc. is determined individually for each client.

Are clients allowed to have phones?

The Mental Health Collective allows personal technology use after an initial 5-day technology-free period. Usage is allowed throughout each day (phones/technology is turned in nightly).  Other specific Guidelines are determined by the clinical team.
